what can i say? byron and maureen of byron brydges photography are the best!!

being a wedding photographer myself, my main concern for our wedding was picking the right photographer (the only thing i did for the wedding, chantale did the rest!!). we were getting married in vegas during wppi (Wedding & Portrait Photgraphers Internation) trade show (total coinencidence). anyway i had the choice of 20,000 different wedding photographers, the best in the world were at this trade show. i wanted a photographer who i could trust and deliver some rock star images. i have admired byron's work for a long time and he has helped me get started with my own photography business and has been a great mentor. what better choice than have TEAM BRYDGES shoot our wedding in the bright lights of las vegas.

byron and maureen totally blew us away with there warm personalities, their attention to detail and professionalism. we could not have been more happier with these teaser images that are also posted on byron's blog.

vegas day two

hey guys,

sorry for such the delay between blog posts. we lost our wireless connection from our room and we are too busy winning money (NOT) and have not been able to get to the pool with macbook and grab the wireless.

anyway we have been having a blast!! so far we have won some money, checked out jay leno show, took a helicopter over the grand canyon, drove around in a hummer in the mojave desert and most importantly spent time with family and friends.

i have not been taking many pictures the last couple days. i hope to get some shots in and around the strip the next couple, i have an engagement session on wednesday with a couple friends who wedding is this august. we thought that vegas would be a cool place to shoot there engagement. so a little work while on vacation, but i love my job so no complaining here.

anyway here are a few from the helicopter/hummer tour. i didn't have much time in the grand canyon so i only was able to grab a couple shots, it was hard shooting from the helicopter.

vegas day one

hello everyone,

its been a crazy couple days here in las vegas. the weather has been beautiful with a steady +23 celcius, sorry for the people who are shoveling back home :(

anyway day one was amazing. i knew it was going to be a great day when chantale booked me my very first swedish massage at the westin. it was unbelieveable, i highly recommend everyone go get a massage, i feel 10 yrs younger. after the massage i headed off to go pick our rental car, i surprised chantale with a porsche boxter which we cruised around vegas and the red rock canyon. late friday night we had tickets to go see jay leno at the mirage, the show was awesome but i was completely wiped after.

the porsche, i actually thought it would be fun to drive. it cornered really well and was quick, but once you got the needle close to 100 mph she started to shake a little. its probably because its a rental and everyone drives the crap out of it.

hello all,

this time its me and my beautiful wife to be 'chantale' being photographed!! the very talented andrew geddes and his apprentice 'shauna' were kind enough to shot some pics for chantale and i this past saturday in the glebe. andrew is an amazing photographer with a great eye and personality to boot. he totally makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and you completely forget that your even being photographed. thats a true sign of a great photographer. we had so much fun running around the glebe looking for cool locations and backdrops. andrew tried some cool off camera flash stuff and the results were awesome, be sure to check out his blog for more his work.

thanks again shauna and andrew!! its was a great experience and chantale and i appreciate it so much that you were able to squeeze us into your busy schedule.

chantale and i are to be married march 15th in VEGAS at Ceasars Palace. Many of my clients always ask 'who is going to shoot your wedding?' well byron brydges and his wife maureen are trekking down to vegas with us to capture the nuptials. i have been a huge fan of byron's work for a long time and we are so pumped to have him and his wife capture our special day. so be sure to check back to see images from the VEGAS WEDDING!!! and no, elvis is not going to be doing the ceremony
