another engagement for ya!! i actually shot this engagement last night. joan-ann and derek are getting married in 2 weeks in fairmont le chateau montebello.

i had so much fun shooting this engagement, lots of laughs.. thanks joan-ann and derek for putting up with all my chatter and for venturing out into the unknown.

here is another engagement shoot i did for stacey and paul who are getting married later in july at the courtyard restaurant in the byward market. we shot in and around little italy and we also made a visit to the canadian war museum.

victoria + ian = engaged in kingston!!

hello all,

yes another destination engagement shoot, this time in beautiful city of kingston, ontario. just short of three weeks ago(i know i'm way behind on blog posting, but i have been very busy) i drove down to kingston to meet victoria and ian to shoot some engagement pics. the downtown area of kingston is very historic and it was nice to shoot in some different locations that i have not been before. victoria and ian are getting married in kingston on july 12th at the radisson hotel.

line + dominque = engaged

well lots of engagements coming up as wedding season is underway. its going to be one very busy summer, i'm totally pumped, especially if all of my shoots turn out like the one below.

this past sunday julie butler(awesome photographer) and i met up with line and dominque to shoot the engagement. julie is second shooting with me for line and dominque's wedding thats coming up in may.

it was great shooting with julie and line and dominque where great and so much fun to shoot. we are going to have a blast at the wedding.

kelly + sean = chilly lifestyle shoot

hello all,

the winter's here in ottawa can get real cold, especially downtown. the wind seems to get tunneled between the buildings. last saturday i met up with kelly and sean who were true sports and battled the cold wind to get some great images. we started on the canel to take in some of the winterlude action.

i'll be shooting kelly and sean's wedding in pembroke in april, i cannot wait!! thanks guys for toughing it out and being patient with me trying to find some shelter from the winds.

michele + eric = lifestyle engagement

hello all,

just finished up a few images from michele and eric's engagement session which i shot today with the new d3. michele and eric are getting married march 1 at the west carleton wedding and banquets. they are so much fun to hang out and they look so good in front of the camera. thanks guys for being troopers trekking through the snow.

for you photographers out there, the d3 is awesome.. the full-frame was kinda weird at first, all of these images were shot with an 85mm at various iso's. i didn't shoot much in low light so i didn't try any at 6400.

jaime + ed = the lifestyle shoot

a couple saturday's ago i spent a rainy morning in the beautiful little community of perth to shoot jaime + ed's lifestyle session. jaime and ed drove up from toronto to do some wedding planning so we didn't let the rain spoil our shoot. they are getting married at the code's mill in perth on january 5th, 2008. ed is also in the photography business so we had lots to chat about..sorry jaime for all the geek gear talk :(

diane + mark = lifestyle engagement

hello all,

early last sunday morning i had the pleasure of shooting diane and mark's engagement pictures. diane and mark have found this awesome 'top secret' lookout in gatineau park where the view is just amazing. when they told me they wanted to shoot the engagement pics there i was sold, especially with all this awesome fall color. anyway it was a beautiful morning and i think we grabbed some amazing shots!!

lindsay + jacques = lifestyle engagement

my first 'wedding free' weekend in quite some time.. its been an awesome summer and i have met so many new people and had the pleasure of shooting so many beautiful weddings. as fall is rolling and the wedding season is starting to slow down i continue to keep busy shooting engagement sessions for my 2008 wedding couples. last sunday i met lindsay and jacques, they are both from calgary and are getting married in ottawa next year at the rockcliffe park pavillion. they were in-town last week to go over and finalize wedding plans so we decided to have an engagement shoot.

krista + mike = lifestyle

hello all,

tonight i was out shooting krista & mike's lifestyle shots. krista was one of the bridesmaids from my previous wedding (lindsay + jason). i am shooting their wedding late september and i cannot wait, it should be a great event!! anyway we hung out in the trendy neighbourhood of westburo, shooting around the many murals that surround the streets of the village. its always fun shooting the lifestyle session, no timelines to worry about, just hang out and look for fun things to shoot.
