baby eric = 9 months

hello all,

one of the best things about being a photograher is that you get to spend time with so many great people. robin, chris and little eric are friends of mine and i am so lucky to know them, they'll do just about anything to help you out. anyway a couple sundays ago i went out for a bbq lunch and of course i brought my camera along to grab some snaps of eric.. can you beleive he is already 9 months!! i cannot wait to look back through all the photos after a year and see how he has grown so much over time.

michele + eric = lifestyle engagement

hello all,

just finished up a few images from michele and eric's engagement session which i shot today with the new d3. michele and eric are getting married march 1 at the west carleton wedding and banquets. they are so much fun to hang out and they look so good in front of the camera. thanks guys for being troopers trekking through the snow.

for you photographers out there, the d3 is awesome.. the full-frame was kinda weird at first, all of these images were shot with an 85mm at various iso's. i didn't shoot much in low light so i didn't try any at 6400.

hello all,

yesterday i got a call from my good friends at henry's in kanata and they finally received my D3!! i have been waiting for this beauty since october, they are really hard to come by. i have not yet had a chance to really play with it, but i have an engagement session this afternoon so i'll post a couple images tonight. i'm really excited to be able to try this bad boy out, this camera is revolutionary..

happy new year!!

i know i'm late but i took some time off to get ready for 2008. i promise to blog more this year and i'm so looking forward to this coming wedding season.

last weekend i had my first wedding of '08, jaime and ed were married at the code's mill in perth, ontario. jaime and ed are such a loving couple and it was great to be able to capture some wonderful moments of them.

here are a few of my favorites of the wedding, stay tuned for the slideshow to come next week.
