day trip to old montreal

hello all,

i am so glad to live so close to beautiful old montreal, its has a european feel to it, although i have yet to travel to europe but thats what i picture it to look like. old montreal has some cool architecture, great food, cobblestone streets and many different things to photograph. well last sunday my lovely chantale, my loyal dog whistler and i, the guy with the camera, decidied to jump into the car to make the 2-hour long journey. below are some of the pics i was able to grab while touring around. i have to thank chantale and whistler for being so patient with me as i stopped every 2 minutes to take a picture. i hope you enjoy them, i needed to get away and take some photos to hang on are newly painted walls, thanks laura and jean for painting!!

baby eric @ 3 months

hello everyone,

man do they ever grow fast!! i visited good friends of mine today robin & chris to shoot some pics of their 3 month old son eric, my last visit was when he was just 1 week, click here
to see his 1st week shots. he has the cutest chubby cheeks, makes you want to just chew him up. anyway, i'm going to be taking pictures of him every 3 months for his first year, by then we'll have a great collection of photos to make an awesome slideshow to show you all, until then here a few teasers from todays shoot.

julia + matt = engagement

hello all,

its been crazy busy these last couple weeks as wedding season is kicking into high gear, so i'm a little late posting my latest engagement session. a couple weeks ago i spent a great evening with julia, matt and tom shoot thier engagement photos. we had a lot of fun pushing around a shopping cart, eating ice cream, posing with the cows on the experimental farm and to top it all off, watch the sunset on britania beach. thank-you julia and matt for asking me to shoot your engagement photos and also a big thanks goes out to tom for giving me some ideas of different shooting angles. i hope you guys enjoy the prints and SLIDESHOW!! just hit the play button on the bottom left below the image.

lord stanley

a couple weeks ago when the ottawa senators were still in the hunt to win the stanley cup, i had the opportunity to shoot some photos of the lord stanley's cup for the staff of the holiday inn select here in ottawa. a great place to stay if your are visiting ottawa or planning an event or wedding reception. it took some courage to open these photos and prepare them for the hotel because of the disappointing ending to this years hockey season. most of the pics are of the staff of the hotel, but here is one i grabbed between shots, its the coolest and hardest trophy to win on the planet. i hope all you anaheim fans appreciate and enjoy it, because it will make its way back here next year!!

kathy + colin = the wedding

hello everyone,

its 1:45 am and i am just finishing up another slideshow from a wedding i did this past saturday. i wanted to finish before kathy & colin head off for there honeymoon in nyc & costa rica.

what can i say?? its hard for me sometimes to explain the joy i have as being a wedding photographer, i get to meet so many nice people, i just wish i could see all of you more often. kathy & colin, thanks for letting me hang out with your wonderful parents, families and friends, it was a true pleasure to be part of it. the wedding was held at the ottawa congress centre.

have a great honeymoon and i hope you enjoy the pictures!!

hello everyone,

i know a lot of ottawa senators fans out there are a little disspointed from last nights loss. we had a great year and a great playoff run. we should be proud of the team we have and and just accept that anaheim was better than we were this time around.

thanks ottawa for a great season and i cannot wait to go for it again in 2008!!
