ariana + mark = the wedding

hello all,

i think being a wedding photographer is amazing, if i wasn't one i would have never met this beautiful couple, ariana and mark. they were married this past sunday at rockcliffe park pavillion, a great venue. it was a little chilly but that didn't stop us of taking advanatge of the gellato cart that ariana & mark arranged to serve to guests after the ceremony. here is a shot as we were leaving the pavillion to head to the crown plaza hotel for the reception. be sure to watch the SLIDESHOW as well.

i just wanted to let everyone out there that i have the best mother in the world. i am the luckiest guy to have such a caring, loving and wonderful mom. even though she lives about 2000 miles away, she always picks me up when i fall, she is always there to listen and give advice in these trying times of our lives. thank-you mom, you are the best.

kathy + colin = the engagement

hello all,

today was a great day!! at 3:45 i meet up with a wonderful couple named kathy & colin to shoot their engagement shoot. engagement shoots are so much fun, its a great time to get to know each other before the big wedding day. the wedding takes place at the ottawa congress centre on june 9th, 2007. i cannot wait, its so much fun just hanging out with these two, i also have a hot date!! so be sure to check back to see the wedding photos sometime mid-june. here are my favorite 10 from todays shoot, also at the end you will see the SLIDESHOW, JUST HIT THE PLAY BUTTON..

Weekly Photo Competition

hello everyone,

i met a very talented ottawa photographer a couple weeks ago named colin gemmell from on point photography. anyway he has invited me along with a few other ottawa photographers who i'll name later into a weekly best photo competition. i'm looking forward to learning a lot from these guys and hoping to become a better more creative photographer in the process. anyway look below for my first week entry, nothing special, just a cool tree starting to bud in my backyard. hopefully the pictures will get better from week to week. wish me luck.
