Last night I had my first Commercial photo shoot @ Rinaldo Hair Designers & Spa @ Carlingwood Shopping Center. Some of these photos are going to be used for the new web site that will be launched soon. If you are looking for a great hair cut or a relaxing day at the spa, this is the place for you. I've been getting my hair cut at Rinaldo's for the past 2 years, the service and ambiance is the best in Ottawa, even the Prime Minister of Canada gets his hair cut by Rinaldo's, read the Ottawa Citizen article.

Very nice shots.
I know this was a contract but in general - How did you ask for permission to shoot in the store/location?
I am in inspiring photographer always looking for locations to shoot, but I'm never quite sure how to ask and overcome shyness.
